Our Profile
PI Transportation Company Limited was first established as a sole proprietorship.
Starting from 1978, it has transported goods from Yangon to the ports on the Myanmar
coast by M.V Shwe Nagar which was the only first ship owned by the company.
In 1990, the company has bought more ships and repaired them to speed up the sea freight
transportation and it has now six coastal vessels.
In 1998, it was expanded to exist in the form of company after being registered with the
state government by the name of P.I. Transportation Company Limited and it has been doing the
following business activities successfully:
- Myanmar coastal shipping services
- Ship construction and repairing services
- Oversea freight forwarding services
- Customs documentations and clearing services
- Oversea liner services
